Daniel J. Strausbaugh is a founding Partner/Member of Strausbaugh & Tongier, L.L.C. Dan is a graduate of the University of Kansas and of the University of Missouri at Kansas City Law School. He is a lifetime Kansas Citian.
In over 30 years of practice, Dan has worked as a trial attorney for law firms specializing in cases involving personal injuries and death. During his first ten years of practice, Dan worked primarily as a defense attorney representing insurance companies. The last 20 years, he has worked on behalf of victims of personal injury and death.
Dan has had trials on hundreds of cases involving medical malpractice, mental health malpractice, legal malpractice, defective products, commercial contracts, construction accidents, auto accidents, injuries from falls and criminal matters. He has also argued cases in the appeals courts for both Kansas and Missouri.
Martindale-Hubbell, the legal directory that rates attorneys based on surveys of the legal community, gave Dan an AV rating, the highest rating for ability and integrity. Dan is a member of the Kansas and Missouri Bar Associations and an inactive member of the Arizona Bar Association. He is also a member of the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association and the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys.
He is involved in his community. Dan has served several years as President of the Board of Directors of Public Water Supply District No. 2 for Cass County, Missouri.
